"description": "
A search for Dark Matter produced in association with a single top quark with the CMS experiment was performed.
\nTwo analysis channels are considered, depending on the decay of the top quark.
\nThe leptonic analysis channels the transverse mass as a kinematic variable to distinguish the signal from the Standard Model backgrounds.
\nThe hadronic analysis channel utilizes the hadronic recoil and a sophisticated statistical model in which the main backgrounds are determined in a data-driven way via transfer factors.
\nNo significant deviations from the Standard Model expectations were observed.
\nConsequently, exclusion limits on parameters of the theoretical Dark Matter model were set.
",
