A novel search for di-Higgs events in the ττ+bb final state in pp collisions at 13 TeV at the LHC

A novel search for di-Higgs boson events is presented. The search involves the decay of a new heavy Higgs boson into the discovered Higgs boson at 125 GeV and an additional Higgs boson in the final state with a pair of tau leptons and b quarks. For the search, 137 1/fb of 13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the CMS detector located at the LHC are used.
